883 Jia FM is a Chinese radio station of SAFRA Radio in Singapore. JIA 883 is also the first FM radio station in Singapore to play in English and Chinese music and songs. It features contemporary music, popular, the latest traffic, weather and news and entertainment news.
Latest traffic information is constantly reported to update the listeners, particularly during peak periods. Morning News reported per hour at 7 pm, 18 hours. FM 883 was launched in June 1995 and was formerly known as Dongli 88.3 FM and re-branded around this year to increase its market share. The weekday morning drive time show is also hosted in English and Chinese, the only radio station in Singapore to do so. SAFRA also launched Power98 FM eight months later.
